5W Wednesday: Ask the Podcast Doctor

Our 5W Wednesday series highlights a variety of health care organizations, professionals and programs that keep our community healthy.

Who is the Podcast Doctor?
David Stutz, MD, FACP, is the Ask the Podcast Doctor. He brings more than 30 years of clinical experience to the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan. He is a primary care practitioner with interests in general internal medicine, cardiovascular health and wellness, sports medicine, geriatric medicine, and more.

What service does he provide?
Dr. Stutz takes your health and medical questions and interviews experts at the University of Michigan. Email a question or listen to the answers to already posted topics.

When are new podcasts posted?
New podcasts are posted each Thursday. Visit askthepodcastdoctor.org to subscribe to the podcasts with iTunes or your preferred podcasting tool.

Why is this service so useful?
Ask The Podcast Doctor is your website – you get to determine what questions you want the Podcast Doctor to answer! You can also browse all past podcasts by subject.
This site only provides general information. It is not and cannot be a substitute for advice and treatment from your own health care providers. If you have a problem that needs attention, please address it with your personal physician or other health care professional.

Where can I submit my health questions?
Email the podcast doctor at question@askthepodcastdoctor.org.
Please note that the Podcast Doctor cannot tell you when your question may be answered. Those questions with broad listener interest are more likely to be answered and posted in a podcast interview with one of our experts. Please check back each Thursday.
