What’s the event?
Next Saturday, August 13, the 5th annual Autism Awareness and Family Day will take place at Rolling Hills Water Park, sponsored by the Autism Collaborative Center of Eastern Michigan University.
Join the fun with other autism spectrum disorder families and friends for a chance to get acclimated to the water park and enjoy the slides, rides, and splash areas before the park opens to the general public, in a less-crowded and stimulating environment. All ages are welcome. Park features include a zero-entry pool area, a tot-slide and splash zone for little ones, as well as a lazy river, exciting water slides, and a giant wave pool. Changing rooms, lockers, and concessions are available.

When is it?
The Family Day is Saturday, August 13, and starts at 9:45am. From 9:45am to 10:45am, the park will be open only to autism spectrum disorder families and friends only. (Admission is valid full day.) At 11am the facility opens to the public, and all are welcome to stay and play or head home if they please!
