Each year more than 300,000 children in the Michigan area are unable to attend regular summer camp due to serious medical conditions. North Star Reach will provide children with serious medical challenges a chance to get away and just be kids.
The abandoned Michigan Fresh Air Camp, located near Pinckney, MI, is being completely redeveloped into North Star Reach, a state-of-the-art camp for special needs children from the region. Partnership with University of Michigan C. S. Mott’s Children’s Hospital and other area children’s health centers will support state-of-the-art medical facilities at the camp. Learn more about North Star Reach by visiting their website.
