They provide community support for seniors and caregivers seeking advice or information on planning ahead, making transitions or handling a crisis. The Housing Bureau for Seniors can put you in touch with a comprehensive network of programs and services so that you can obtain the help you need.
When was this organization founded?
The Housing Bureau of Seniors has been in operation since 1983. Since then, they have helped more than 13,000 older adults and their families throughout Washtenaw County.

HBS is a place where people, 55 and older, can find answers to questions about housing and care options in Washtenaw County. The Housing Bureau for Seniors is a part of the University of Michigan Health System; they are non-profit and do not charge fees.

The Housing Bureau for Seniors is located at the Turner Senior Resource Center. The Housing Bureau for Seniors office hours are Monday – Friday from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Please feel free to make an appointment or drop in during those hours.
