What will be at the Asian American Health Fair?
Multilingual translators will be available, and doctors will be available for consultation. Also, there will be a free raffle!
Free health screenings will be available from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. Screenings include cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose, dental, glaucoma, breast cancer, bone density, hepatitis, depression, and BMI. **Please note: DO NOT EAT 12 hours prior to the following screenings: Cholesterol, Blood Glucose. (Availability of these tests is guaranteed for those who register online.)
Free lunch & workshops will take place from 12:00PM to 3:00PM, including: Yuan Ji dance, Healing Touch, Medical Care for the Elderly. Visit the health fair webpage for a list of all workshops offered.
Why should I register online ahead of time?
Free health screenings are offered only until 12PM. Registering online guarantees the availability of cholesterol and blood glucose tests, which require that you do not eat for 12 hours before the blood test. Pre-register online to ensure that your fast doesn’t go to waste! Also, when you register online you can request an interpreter if needed. Register Online Here.
