Join us this Saturday, December 15th at Washtenaw Community College in the Morris Lawrence Building (map) for the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast. Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9 AM and the sessions will go from 9-11 AM. Speakers will present on a variety of topics including: pain management, mental health, health information, and relationships.
The listed speakers below will be there as well as Taubman Health Sciences Library staff!
Dan Clauw, MD – Professor of Anesthesiology in the Division of Rheumatology and Director of the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center at the University of Michigan.He will speak about ways to manage pain.
Donald Vereen, MD, MPH – Psychiatrist, Director of the U-M Substance Abuse Research Center, and Director of Community Academic Engagement for the Prevention Research Center, U-M School of Public Health.
Angelita Jacobs, MS – Therapist at Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County with expertise in children, adolescent, family, and couples therapy. She will speak about relationships and communication.
