5 W Wednesdays: MHealthy Rewards

What: MHealthy Rewards is a free, voluntary, and confidential program that helps qualifying persons learn helpful information about their health and then take steps to improve or maintain it. In 2013, MHealthy Rewards includes completing the confidential health questionnaire and an eligible activity (View the list of Rewards-eligible activities by logging into the MHealthy Rewards homepage). To maintain confidentiality, the University of Michigan partners with StayWell® Health Management, a national provider of health improvement services to administer the health questionnaire.

Who: Qualifying benefits-eligible faculty and staff and their enrolled spouse/other qualified adult (OQA) can participate in MHealthy Rewards. To learn more about specific eligibility requirements, please visit here.

When: The program started January 22nd. To receive incentives, you must complete the 2013 health questionnaire by March 15, 2013. You must complete your Rewards-eligible activity by July 12, 2013.

By participating, you can better understand your own health risks and take actions to prevent them. As an added bonus, qualifying benefits-eligible faculty and staff who complete the 2013 annual health questionnaire by March 15, 2013, will earn a $50 before-tax reward within their U-M paycheck.
