SexLab Speaker Series: Dr. Lisa Diamond

Sit in on another great talk from the SexLab Speaker Series this Wednesday, March 20th from 1-3 PM in the School of Public Health I (map), Room 1755.

This week’s topic is “Emerging Perspectives on Female Sexual Desire and Orientation: Implications for Health and Well-Being”.

The speaker for this week is Dr. Lisa Diamond. Dr. Diamond is a Professor of Development and Health Psychology at the University of Utah. Her research research focuses on two distinct but related areas — the nature and development of affectional bonds and the nature and development of same-sex sexuality. The common thread uniting these lines of research is her interest in the psychological and bio-behavioral processes underlying intimate relationships and their influence on emotional experience and functioning over the life course.
