Men’s Fellowship Breakfast: May 19th, 2012

What is the event?
The Men’s Fellowship Breakfast is an event sponsored by the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center Community Outreach Program. Attendees will learn about healthy eating and colon health, with a special cooking demo and food tasting with Chef Kyle. A free hot breakfast will be served before the program and door prizes will be given away.

Who should come?
All men and boys are welcome!

When is the event?
The next Men’s Fellowship Breakfast is Saturday, May 19th. The program runs from 9:00 – 11:00am (with free hot breakfast served 8:30 – 9am).

Where is the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast?
The Men’s Fellowship Breakfasts will be held at a new location: Washtenaw Community College (WCC), Morris Lawrence Building, 4800 E. Huron River Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. Click here for a map.  (Look for the maize and blue balloons.) Click here to register or call 734-998-7071.

Why should I attend this event?
Hear from great guest speakers, including: 

  • Rafat Rizk, MD – Gastroenterologist (digestive system expert) at U-M Health System with clinical interests in celiac disease, microscopic colitis, and irritable bowel syndrome. He also performs colonoscopies.
  • Hayward Penny, MS, RD – Nutrition expert and project manager for health and wellness at Detroit Medical Center.
  • Kyle Kooyers – Executive chef for Fabulous Foods and graduate of WCC’s culinary arts program.
